Controls and starting a run

Tap the four arrow buttons, swipe across the game or tap the playing field to hop forward. Keyboard players can use WASD or arrow keys, Space to hop forward and P to pause. The controls work in portrait, landscape and the site’s fullscreen player.

Scoring and strategy

Wait in a meadow for a clear road. Logs carry you sideways, so jump before drifting off the edge. Red railway lights mean a train is approaching. Your latest meadow is a recovery point; crossing the same lane twice does not earn extra points. Best scores stay on this browser when local storage is available.

Your first three practice goals

These are optional practice exercises, not extra in-game missions or rewards. Try one at a time so you can tell what improved.

  1. On your first road, watch one car pass before hopping. Move forward only when both the destination lane and the lane beyond it make sense; a clear landing with no next move can become a trap.
  2. At a river, hop onto a log near its incoming side so its drift gives you time to plan. Watch the river edge as well as the next log.
  3. Treat a meadow as a chance to reset your rhythm. On your next attempt, aim to reach the next meadow with more lives rather than chasing every golden kernel.

A common mistake to avoid

Repeatedly hopping forward ignores moving hazards. Backtracking does not award the same lane points again, so use sideways or backward moves for safety rather than score farming.

Play comfortably on your screen

Open the game with the Play link, then use Fullscreen in the toolbar for more space. On phones, pause before changing orientation. On computers, click inside the game before using keyboard controls. Touch and keyboard availability differs by game; use the controls described above.

For a blank game, missing progress or trouble leaving fullscreen, visit player help. A TV browser may need a connected keyboard or pointer; a remote alone is not a substitute for the game’s controls.
